Dr Tanya Petrossian, PhD

Epigenetics Clinical Lead

Dr. Tanya Petrossian, is a world leader in epigenetics and holds a Ph.D Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. Dr. Petrossian made the groundbreaking discovery of the Methyltransferasome which led to her nomination by the National Institutes of Health to represent the United States in the 2010 Meeting of the Nobel Laureates.

She is also pioneering the development of the first non-hormone therapeutic for endometriosis – the number one cause of infertility and disability in women during their reproductive years.

Christopher Collins, MSST, CISSN

Head of Physiology

Chris is an experienced coach, researcher and therapist and currently splits his time between the National Health Service (NHS) and commercial health research.

He has graduated from Myerscough College, Edge Hill University and Queen Margaret University with degrees in sports therapy, medical imaging and sports specific nutrition.

He has worked with multiple professional football teams, corporate well-being with Nestle, across 3 different hospital sites and designed multiple predictive health algorithms. Christopher believes that genetic science holds the key for performance enhancement in athletes, engaging people with their health and predicting possible health problems before they occur.

James Brown, BSc

Co-Founder and Nutrigenomics Director

James is an ex-professional rugby player representing Harlequins and England schools, that has spent the last 20 years working as a sports and performance nutritionist with a degree from St Marys Twickenham. He provides regular monthly nutrition columns in a variety of health and fitness titles, such as Men’s Fitness, Muscle and Fitness and Flex.

James switched his attention to the world of genetics following the deaths of 2 of his younger cousins from cystic fibrosis in 2010 and gained his nutrigenomics degree from La Trobe University in 2015. He now provides a wealth of experience and knowledge with how our genes fully interact with our food, exercise, lifestyle and environments.

Dr Richard Siow, PhD

Scientific Advisor

Dr Richard Siow is Director of Ageing Research at King’s College London (KCL) and holds a BSc in Nutrition and PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine from KCL. He was a Postdoctoral Associate in the School of Clinical Medicine, University of Cambridge before returning to KCL as a Group Leader.

 

He was previously the Vice-Dean (International), Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at KCL and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology. He had a sabbatical period with Unilever as an advisor to the Strategic Science Group and championed establishment of the Unilever Bioscience Innovation Hub at KCL.  

 

His research focuses on nutrigenomics for healthy longevity and the mechanisms ageing. He has published extensively leading biomedical journals and is the UK Lead for the International Society on Aging and Disease.

 

He is an Associate Editor of Frontiers in Genetics and Frontiers in Nutrition and a member of the Advisory Board of the UK All Party Parliamentary Group for Longevity and The Lancet Healthy Longevity.

Dr Imran Khan, PhD

Scientific Advisor

Dr Imran Khan has over 20 years experience in the health sector both on a practical and academic level.  Dr Khan is a life-long supporter of sports, especially bodybuilding, powerlifting and martial arts.  


Dr Khan holds a MSc in Health Management and Exercise and Rehabilitation.  He is currently completing a post graduate Diploma in Endocrinology at the Royal College of Physicians and is a PhD Research Associate.  


Dr Khan is a Fellow at the Royal Society of Public Health and is a Senior Associate of the Royal Society of  Medicine.  He is also a Professional Member of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Science and International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society.
